Short-Term Scientific Mission Grant
This grant supports networking across borders and disciplines to strengthen the research community and foster lasting collaborations. It provides opportunities for scholars to exchange expertise, develop innovative ideas, and build sustainable academic partnerships. Recipients are expected to share their insights through a blog post on platforms such as The Loop, Gender Blog, or another recognized academic blog in the humanities. Missions should last between 5-90 days.
Virtual Mobility Grant
The Virtual Mobility Grant supports innovative projects that bridge language barriers and make research from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs) more accessible to the global academic community. The grant focuses on creating digital outputs—such as podcasts, videos, or other online materials—that communicate research across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Successful applicants will produce engaging content, for example, English-language podcasts introducing and discussing works on anti-equality movements or other relevant themes originally published in ITC languages.
Dissemination Conference Grant
This grant is exclusively available to COST Action members and supports the dissemination of the network’s core scientific ideas. The funds provided in this grant faciliate on-site and virtual conference participation, requiring recipients to deliver an oral presentation directly related to the COST Action’s research themes. The program aims to enhance the visibility and impact of the network by encouraging participation in high-profile conferences across disciplines and regions.
Young Researcher and Innovator Conference Grant
This grant supports early-career scholars (up to 40 years of age) in attending high-impact international conferences outside their country of residence. Grantees are expected to present their work—through a talk or poster—on a topic aligned with the COST Action’s scope. By fostering active engagement among emerging researchers and professionals in civic education, the program aims to strengthen networks and enhance the visibility of both the grantee and the COST Action.
Inclusive Target Countries Conference Grant
This grant supports researchers from Inclusive Target Countries (ITCs), particularly in regions facing immediate challenges to academic freedom and gender equality. It provides funding to attend international conferences outside the COST Actions framework, fostering professional development and cross-border collaboration. The program aims to strengthen the visibility and impact of researchers from ITCs while promoting inclusive and equitable participation in the global academic community.
