Call of Interest
May 6, 2026Preparing the budget for the next grand and budget period of CA 23149, we are calling for proposal for events, which should take place between late November 2026 and August 2027. Each working group can organize a workshop which should aiming at a clear output (publication, open educational resources etc.).
Framework for proposals:
- Each WG will have the budget for either a workshop of max. 15 participants and max. 1 keynote speaker during an ideally noon-to-noon workshop (only in exceptions of 1,5 days resp. from 9 am to the next day’s noon). We expect full working days until 6 pm in the evening.
- Or for a workshop of 15 participants, the WGs may organize two smaller authors’ workshops e.g. for edited volumes, special issues, or for Open Educational Resources. Such workshops can consist of 9-10 participants (to be reimbursed).
- We also invite you to propose joint workshop with other actions or with other projects. In that case, the number of participants can be higher, but those who should be reimbursed by CA23149 should not exceed 15 participants and 1 keynote speaker. Ideally, you should aim at financing the half of participants.
If you are interested in hosting and organizing an event, please send the following information to your WG leader resp. YRI and stakeholder coordinator.
We need information about:
- Organiser(s)
- Venue
- Planned date
- Topic (abstract of max. 500 words)
- Planned outcome
- Planned number of participants / keynote speakers
We strongly encourage YRIs and ITC members to submit their ideas.
During summer, the budget will be prepared and by October 2026 the Cost Association will finally decide on the budget. Hence, you will get a provisional information if your proposal is accepted / selected by your WG leader by mid July latest, but the official feedback will be given by mid October.
